Warnings about children’s unhealthy lifestyles are common, but experts are now showing how junk food fans could look in middle age:

Computer wizardry allowed one family to see how their children will look at 40, if they do not change their habits. Child health experts are overseeing the experiment for the BBC3 show Honey We’re Killing the Kids!

    One of the problems is lack of excercise. In the pre-industrial era, children were part of the work force. Even up till the 50s, most people lived in rural areas and the kids were expected to do chores. As children, we could hardly wait to get out of the house every possible day, and run and ride our bikes and swim. Even our kids spent most of their time outdoors when they weren’tin school. Now, I guess kids just sit in darkened rooms and play computer games.
