How to backup Windows 7 Sticky Notes

All you need is to copy this file to your backup location:

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\
Sticky Notes\StickyNotes.snt

*NOTE*

AppData is a hidden folder. So you will not find it if you browse folder step by step in Windows Explorer (although I managed to get there by pasting with my username
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\
Microsoft\Sticky Notes”
into the top bar with no problem). To directly jump to AppData\Roaming folder, you can run {a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62}appdata{a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62} from the Windows start menu.

Thanks. It would be worth mentioning that AppData is a hidden folder. So you will not find it if you browse folder step by step in Windows Explorer.

Do directly jump to AppDataRoaming folder, you can run {a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62}appdata{a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62} from the Windows start menu.
