rainbow flagBrightons police station temporarily replaces its sussex police flag with that of the Gay Police Association (GPA) as part of its commitment to both representing its gay officers and showcasing its inclusive attitude towards members of the LGBT community.

Brighton and Hove City Council have launched a “pink wedding list” that same-sex partners looking to sign the Civil Partnership bill can add their names to. “As well as Brighton and Hove couples, we want to encourage gay and lesbian couples from across England and Wales to come because they too will be able to have a pink wedding in the city when the law changes.”
