excellent! hopefully this will set the trend for other african countries.

and fly is right – it’s going to be a tough job, but let’s hope she’ll come through with flying colours and pave the way for other women.

Tell you what, I was delighted to hear the news…..sadly tho our new vice president is going to be hammered from all sides….hopefully she wil be strong enough to make it through….

For the 1st time in a long time, i’m glad to say I see some hope in the countries politics :o)

Well thats exactly why this news is so big and so encouraging. Other African countries watch South Africa closely.

South Africa is in so many ways a beacon of hope and is an example to all the other African countries because it has emerged as a successful democracy out of apartheid in only a few years, and has the largest and most well-developed economy of the entire African continent.

This would really gladden my heart if I hadn’t read all the other stories of atrocities committed against women in other parts of Africa. The situation in so many countries there is so grim for women.
