Since my strongest sense is that of smell, I have always followed my nose instinctively. Similarly to how people use physical body language signals to determine whether someone is being truthful or how they feel about you, I also pick up scent signals as part of the overall body language. I have such an acute sense of smell, I can detect subtle changes in the middle of a conversation... I know the smell of attraction, nervousness, excitement, dispair, defensiveness... for example, when someone is very stressed out and nervous, they smell strangely sour.

And from someone with such a finely tuned nose, Nathan you smell very yummy. And I'm quite relieved to hear your sister, mom and aunt would fiercely disagree.

I don't know about these weirdos who fall in love online...

But I love the idea of a test where women go in to smell a bunch of sweaty T-shirts. I've been chastized all of my life for being sweaty and a bit ripe, but all along it was just my mom, sister & aunt's similar immune systems. Good to know.

From now on, if someone says I smell, I'll be sure to inform them that I hadn't caught the latest strain of the common cold, so they'll probably be safe.
