@ fly : Al Gore isn’t “in the running” anymore than any one is at this point – basically, we’re between elections so for another two years Bush is holding the reigns and there’s nothing we can do about it.

As for Al Gore every getting elected, well he could feasibly run again but it’s unlikely he’ll get the Democratic ticket that he would need to win – basically, once a person loses a presidential election, it’s highly unlikely that they’ll get backed by a particular party (read, Democrat or Republican) again as they’re seen as a lost cause.

It’s almost certain that Hillary Clinton will run as the Democratic Candidate next time, and she’ll probably be running against a non-incumbent (that is, not against the current President of Vice President) so anything could go…

I’m sure some people disagree with that but oh well.

I saw this last night. While I agree that people should see it, I was a little surprised that people were so shocked about the information presented in it. Shouldn’t we all know, on some level, that global warming is upon us and we have to do something about it?

I’m not totally understanding of US politics but….is he still in the running…could he still be elected sooner or later as president ???

Yeah – to honestly think that he should have been the President – more people voted for him, yet still he’s not – and the idea that we would be saving the world instead of bombing it…

But that’s crazy to dream – to actually have an intelligent world leader instead of the current joke we’re stuck with.
