yeah man… i remember that…
I also remember the watch dad got me from another japan trip… it had a game on it… and was basically a 1980’s gameboy watch… which unfortunately got lost in the sand at bakoven beach… under that big rock i used to jump off… in the sand.

remember that?

Speaking of which…remember that family of painted rocks you had that got lost in the sand in camps bay… we spent hours looking for them and eventually had to leave… how devastating!

You obviously didn't have the same watch! A rip-off perhaps. This watch not only tells the time, it comes off the strap and turns into a robot. A robot with a computer for brains that knows the time. A robot that makes a very cool sound. They came out when you were too young to tell the time anyway. No wonder you were embarrassed.

I had one of those, I thought it was lame, but mostly because, um, well, real Transformers turned into cool shit like dinosaurs and motorcycles… think about this poor guy, he comes over to visit for Thanksgiving and everyone’s turning into giant guns and airplanes and they’re like, what do you have Mectowatch?

“Um…I’ve got the time….” utterly.embarrassing.

Bronnie I just found out people are selling them on eBay as collecters pieces! I can't imagine having one of these and not wearing and enjoying it. Okay... so there are only a few left in mint condition on the face of this earth but it seems a far greater sin to own one and not take it out of the box. It wants to come out and play! Do you remember the watch Ken had that had that awesome racing car game on it? I was obsessed with getting a perfect score. Now that's a super rare gadget!
