I find this statement confusing and provocative, perhaps deliberately? On a spiritual level, there are no victims. We all have power to re-cast our feelings and our experiences, and regain our dignity and identity until we die. On a practical societal or legal level, there are characters who play their parts, with guilt to be established, and punishment to be meted out. But a victim as violent? How? Out of anger and revenge? Ok, but it seems a huge jump and judgment to just say victims are violent. This is my viewpoint and it has evolved as I have regained my own dignity and identity in the wake of events in my life.

This is a provocative, confusing meme, perhaps deliberately done so.? I don't find it helpful, though, due to some very particular meaning attached to it by BK. I believe there are contexts, and levels. On a spiritual level, I am never a victim. I can always reclaim my value, dignity and identity. Legally, of course there are perps and victims. And situationally, perhaps a victim of a crime might become violent in revenge or insanity, but i have a feeling that is not what is' meant there.
