brainA Pill To Erase Bad Memories?
Wishing away a bad past may seem a hopeless quest, but research at Cambridge University has shown that the process of revisiting memories could potentially allow for rewriting or erasing them altogether, according to an article published in the NewScientist.com.

Each time we go over a past experience in our minds, the chemical pathway that forms the memory is rewritten, says the author. In the long run, this may lead to drug therapy that uses this reconsolidation mechanism to treat people with post truamatic stress disorder, phobias or addictions.
