“It began with my work as a web designer for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). I was now working on content and features relating to the horrifics of animal abuse. I couldn’t just turn away, or close down the browser. I had often visited the site before, but always just clicked away if things got too gruesome for me. Now, I couldn’t just click away. And so, I started to get educated on where meat comes from.

I feel the need to also mention here that I do believe that humans are omnivores, just like many other animals. What I don’t agree with is the way in which animals are treated in the meat industry and how they are killed for our food.” more…
