This is for sure one of the most important parts of searchlores, and you would be well advised to try some of the incredibly powerful search engines listed below. If you limit yourself to google (that on 10/NOV/2004 doubled it’s index to 8 billions pages) you ‘ll miss more than two thirds of the web!
One Google to rule them all with broad might, and americanocentric censorship, one Teoma to refine and refine and refine the queryes, one Fast for the obscure deep web, to bring us all in the depth, and in the darkness enlighten us…
Spring in, if you dare! Again, you have been warned: at first you’ll only fathom the existence of the abyss, only later you’ll understand its real depth and width.

I tried looking for the same 5 different search terms on all three, “clicknathan” “yummy wakame” “search engine” “straw trucker cap” and “monkey in a diaper having sex” and here’s what I got:
“clicknathan” Google wins. While Teoma and Google both came up with clicknathan.com, Teoma was still indexing me as “stuff made by Nathan Swartz” which is at least three months old. AlltheWeb came up with my old blogspot address. Pffft, as if.
“yummy wakame” Google wins again, because of a tie in my happiness with the search results, but Teoma’s more intruding ads at the top of the page. AlltheWeb instantly loses as I am presented with three results which are just ads but very much blended in with the normal results.
“search engine” Google comes up fifth on its results page. Teoma second on its page. AlltheWeb doesn’t even show up on the first page of its own search results (Google comes up second there). Since Google shows up on all three and Teoma only shows up once (AlltheWeb not at all) I’ll have to go with Google again.
“straw trucker cap” Teoma wins this, as the first link took me to a page with the EXACT hat I was looking for. Google linked me to Froogle which had thumbnails, links to and prices for about 41 hats, most of which were the type of hats I was looking for. AlltheWeb’s took me to an eBay site, which had an ample list of hats that I could choose from, including the one I wanted.
Unfortunately, none of the search engines could produce a video of a monkey in a diaper having sex, so what does that tell you?

* I used my satisfaction as a factor for what search engine resulted in being the winner. It should be any search engine’s desire to bring up the most desirable result for the user searching, therefore, this criteria is infalible.
