Pretty excited about Stenographr
Found on ClickNathan – I can’t wait until this fabulous service is available to addresses outside the US and Canada…
Stenograhr will send your words as snail mail via the web for only $2 a piece! Handy for keeping in easy contact with gran and your buddies in jail. Currently there is the option to get your blog printed and mailed as a digest to family members, clients and prospects.
Pretty soon there will be the options like printing photos from flickr or other sources to send with your letter, handwritten letters, more layouts and fonts to choose from and Christmas cards!
Im keeping my eye on this one.

Im interested in using it to make more frequent contact with my gran. I get round to writing handwritten letters once every few months and she would like to hear from me more frequently – at least as frequently as the rest of my family does through email. I feel bad that it takes me so long to do it. It would be nice to have both options so she doesnt have to wait so long to hear from me… and so she can see recent photos. I wouldnt stop sending her wonderful fat parcels with googies in every few months because that is totally different to what they offer.
If anything this service promotes the use of snail mail and is aiming it at people who have deserted that option for email. I also doubt they have the time to personally read every letter they print out and package (except for the handwritten option), and even so, youd have to be stupid to put really personal romantic stuff in them.
I just love services like this that give us more options.

Am I getting this right? Someone will turn your emails into handwritten letters? Sorry, but I think this is just another example of things I don’t like about the world. After all, if you love your grandma so much, why would you send it through someone else.
Oh, here’s another one… Got some intimate thoughts to share with your lover? Just get someone else to read and write these personal thoughts for you!
I don’t know about you but I will write my own letters and send them by snail mail. After all, if no one uses it then soon we won’t have the option…

I’m pretty excited about a new post.
