How to Handle Rejection and Criticism

Rejection can actually help you reinvent yourself
This is such a fantastic article. I think everyone has at least at one point in their life gone through a hard patch where they feel so down about constant negative feedback. Instead of crawling into our shells which is the natural defensive response the experience can be used as an opportunity to reinvent yourself.

That said, not all criticism is good advice. If you’re getting it from a particularly nasty person you don’t respect or trust it might be best to throw their opinions on the junk pile. Don’t nourish that poisoned seed. If the issue crops up again with someone else who who do trust, then it might actually be worth looking into.
