‘Proof’ Zim elections were rigged
An age-group analysis on Zim’s 2002 census shows that the total number of voters could not have exceeded 3,8 million. However after the creation of an extra rural voter’s roll, the total roll for the presidential election contained 5,6 million names. Harare economist John Robertson said the figures were manipulated in Zanu-PF’s favour and that at least 1,5 million votes of people who do not exist were added to the party’s totals.
