Limb by limb. It started with my knee. I shave over it and feel, a strange nothing, just this jelly numb. Your silence is a dark bottomless sensory deprivation tank. I walk outside, every sound is dulled by the white noise of falling snow. Where am I? I wake up confused by everything that surrounds me and for a second to the screaming pain in-between, before the numb kicks in again.<\/p>\n<p>There is no sun.<\/p>\n<p>Somewhere you have the sun. You are held in her glow. Rocked to sleep by the cocoon of the hammock. And by your side, there&#8217;s a white lady pup with eyes like dark planets and a whole alternate galaxy wound up on her tail. She falls asleep with an alternate us wrapped up into it. I believe this so I can sleep. This Winter sleep.
