The festival runs for a week starting this Monday. Its not something you can <a href=\"http:\/\/www.burningman.com\/preparation\/event_survival\/the_desert.html\" rel=\"external\">pack<\/a> for at the last minute so I dont know why R.I.S.E. ran the comp at such short notice. Some people pack months in advance. It&#8217;s in the desert, with no commerce, no facilities, it&#8217;s boiling hot in the day and freezing at night.
