Any job that focuses on individuals&#8211;and I don&#8217;t care if it&#8217;s being a social worker, an animal-fixer and lover, a lawyer (I speak from experience), or anything else&#8211;will in time chew you up and spit you out, a burned out vestige of what all or your dreams and aspirations might have been.
