One of their beloved dogs, Cali, was recently diagnosed with chronic liver failure and is undergoing incredibly expensive treatments to save her life at this critical stage. Cassy and Jim are determined to spend everything they have to save her life, but bills have already run through to $5,000 and they&#8217;re climbing with each visit to the emergency room. It&#8217;s an incredibly heart-wrenching time for them and since they have no insurance the financial worries are extreme. As they are running low on funds Cali and her mom paint and sell small paintings for donations on eBay.
