The cliff was called a buffalo jump. The most famous of Wyoming\u2019s buffalo jumps is the Vore Buffalo Jump located near Beulah. From the layers of bones, scientists have estimated that some 20,000 bison were killed at the site and that it was in use as late as 1800 AD.\" class=\"pic_100px\" \/>Wow!! I was absolutely floored by this particular podcast. The first half was interesting and got my ears pricked while I was immersed in other work, but really it&#8217;s the second half, which goes into the history of how the various Native American tribes lived and fed themselves over the ages &#8212; it&#8217;s incredibly fascinating! Completely re-wrote a bunch of ideas I had lolling about in my head for years.
