I wanted to start kicking ass in my life again, to get control back and particularly focussed direction. So I asked my friend MoonDragon to perform a ceremony for me in Bisbee to boost the seawolf medicine, a gypsy blessing he once handed down to me that was handed down to him, and rebraid those pieces back into my hair. Which I did.

Around the same time he sent me this message: “love love love… do not be distracted by the lions to your left and right… they represent the past and the future but there is only now and now is a very beautiful space… find a piece of red cloth or yarn, wrap it twice around your left wrist, tie it with 3 knots, wear it at all times.”

The meaning of each knot:
“hard work, strong mind, patience……three knots… sea wolf medicine for you.”

The knots have carried me through the hard times and reminded me of pursuing the foundational elements that were completely lacking in my life around that time. I got them back again. Hard work, a strong mind and patience I now posses in oodles but I still won’t take it off. I don’t know if I ever will.
