The South African Music Week starts on Saturday the 24th. This is a very cool initiative (made possible by too many people to mention) that aims to enhance and promote the profile and exposure of South African music talent (which by the way is fantastic!!). Although there is an official SAMW site, iAfrica provides a clear and to the point overview of the event at such. As a proud supporter of SA music myself, I will – throughout the week – link to a few of my favourite artists and bands.
