The WHO is to publish new guidelines today stressing that sugar should form no more than 10{a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62} of a person’s diet. And obviously, sugar manufacturers and co disagree, saying that this report is misguided. The Institute of Medicine, part of the US National Academy of Sciences, recommended in September that sugar could make up to 25 percent of calories. The Sugar Association is also not impressed.
