Can you prove that God exists? I can.
(Please note: in the interests of writing an uncomplicated article I have chosen to use “he” rather than “he/she/they/it” in every incidence.)

You might be agnostic or atheist, but it can’t be denied that God exists in the minds of millions of people around the world. Even if God didn’t exist in the first place, he does now because enough people believe he does. There are multitudes of people who believe that God has healed them, transformed their lives, or even failed them, and we all know that countless wars have been fought in his name.
How can you say to a person who has flu symptoms that they are just imagining they have flu? They might be imagining it, it might be real, but either way the symptoms are manifesting and they are experiencing full-blown flu. To say to someone who believes in God that he doesn’t exist is as strange to them as me saying to you that the computer screen in front of you is a figment of your imagination; or that your own mother is an illusion which you have chosen to believe exists. Many people who believe in God are convinced though ancient tradition, a life-changing experience that cannot be explained logically, or even mind-control. Nothing you can say or do could ever shake that belief.
There is great power and potential in every thought you have. Believing in God could increase your lifespan, add to your happiness, give enduring hope to the desperate, and make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
The mere fact that you believe you exist has already transformed your life, because if you didn’t believe it, you wouldn’t be here. From the moment every concept is thought, it exists for that moment in time, and it is further strengthened when more people believe in it. It might even continue to exist after everyone has forgotten about it.
So although I cannot prove that God is real, I can prove that God exists.
