If you’ve ever wanted to live and work in Brighton by the sea you may have found it impossible to find a job here. So many people live here and commute to London every day just so they can spend their evenings and weekends in this buzzing city and hang around all the interesting characters.

I’ll let you in on a little secret – I got my first job at an ad agency in Brighton through an advert in Wired Sussex. Few outsiders seem to know about this site, but employers add the jobs themselves so you can apply directly. No agencies to mess you about. If youre in Web, New Media or IT eventually a job perfect for you will crop up on the jobs pages.

Current jobs include web designers, project managers, business development and sales, programmers, developers and animators.

Unfortunately with so many people queuing up to live and work here, the salaries arent that competitive but with enough persuasion you could get the salary you’re worth. I was prepared to work for just about any salary to live in Brighton and I’m so glad I did.
