A little bit of charm goes a long way…

Pretty much all my friends know that my favourite hobby is flirting for fun. I’m a shameless flirt. It’s soooo much fun. Especially when I’m faced with a challenge like I’m sitting across the room from the ‘target’ (haha) so all I can use is body language, or I’m talking on the phone and unable to use body language so I have to think fast. I also love to watch people flirting, study their body language and try to predict what will happen next. flirtingInappropriate flirting is the funniest to watch, like at work when a colleague hits on the company’s biggest client, or when a guy aims for a girl way out of his league… sometimes succeeding.

The stats say when you first meet new people, their initial impression of you will be based 55{a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62} on your appearance and body-language, 38{a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62} on your style of speaking and only 7{a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62} on what you actually say. For me a guy impresses me a low 15{a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62} with appearance, 30{a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62} style of speaking and 55{a9f0d31f6175b3e4775e11a66c07db268fb74408d6095f6b46eeec420c0e9f62} what he actually says. I’m a bit weird like that and find brains sexy!

If you can master the art of flirting, understand non-verbal communication, are able to cold read people before you approach them or chat them up with no props or safety nets, well chances are you will go far in life with very little effort.

Here’s a rather scientific guide to flirting.
