I most certainly do not crochet titties, but I did once try to make a cod piece. Isn’t that a wonderful expresssion, cod piece. Where did the “cod” part come from? Because maybe back then folks didn’t bathe a lot and crotches smelled like dead fish? Not that I’m an expert on the appearance of the male apparatus, but I’ve never noticed any resemblance to a cod. An eel, maybe, but not a cod.

The good one is a modified granny stitch, is what I meant. I like to make baby blankets, caps & booties as baby gifts.

I made The Princess two gorgous ponchos & caps to match last year. I also made one that was a mess. Anyone, the really nice ones were made by a child’s poncho pattern I adapted. All the adult patterns I found either very confusing or much too big in the head/shoulders area. The other one is a modified granny stitch (like a granny square but not in squares). It was dead easy.
