I had numerous problems with the service at Synlawn. We ordered grass and it took over 2 months to get it delivered to us! I would recommend you finding a more service oriented company.
Wow, I can’t imagine anyone would cover 6,000 sq. ft! It’s supposed to be used in certain areas, that won’t grow…shaded, etc. What is the cost of watering, mowing, fertilizing, etc, and why pay that if it doesn’t look like it should?
Also, I heard there is a fresh cut grass scent you can use, no joking!
And how about the smell/ Nothing smells better then a freshly cut lawn or a wetted lawn in the evening after a hot summer day.. (although more and more dutch soccerstadiums are planning artificial fields..)
I notice it only has a 5 year no-fade guarantee for the San Augustine, which is the cheapest, and what is the most common lawn grass around here. So, I imagine you could expect to have to replace that, say, every 7 years. From estimates, I’d guess our lot has about 6000 SF that we would need to cover. At $3.49/SF, that’s almost $21,000 every 7 years. And that apparently is if we install it ourselves. I wonder how it would look just to install it in places where our grass doesn’t seem to want to grow? The other types of syn-lawn have 10 year no-fade guarantees.

I would like to hear more from people that have this product and how are you satisfied after a couple of years of this in your yard?
