Dropload
It’s the same old story. You can’t email that stupid file because it’s too big and keeps bouncing, or file attachments are filtered at work, and you don’t have quick easy access to an FTP server?
Dropload is a place for you to drop your files off and have them picked up by someone else at a later time. Recipients you specify are sent an email with instructions on how to download the file. Files are removed from the system after 7 days, regardless if they have been picked up or not. You can upload any type of file, mp3, movies, docs, pdfs, up to 100MB each! Recipients can be anyone with an email address.
Clever! And it’s such a simple little site to use. Completely free. If you don’t bookmark it now, you’ll kick yourself when you need it later.

Excellent, Olivia. On top, I also got (from that site) reference to my webEx PC, a free software that allows one to connect remote computers to one another. I had seen software for this kind of application advertised for $ 20/month. This one is free. I tried it and can now hook up my home laptop to my office computer. It was really easy to set up too.
